FoodCorps
FoodCorps is a nationwide team of AmeriCorps leaders who connect kids to real food and help them to grow up healthy. These leaders spend a year in limited-resource schools focusing on three goals:
- Teaching hands-on lessons about food and nutrition
- Building and tending school gardens and teaching cooking lessons so kids can taste the fresh food they've grown
- Changing what's on children's lunch trays, giving them wholesome food from local farms
We've supported FoodCorps' mission since 2013 with monies donated from our National Honesty Index program.
