How to get glowing skin by using aloe Vera gel

Want to know about a plant that is nothing short of a miracle drug? Its none other than Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera has been used for thousands of years to treat a variety of conditions, both internal and external and even now most of our medicines and cosmetics use it as an active ingredient. The aloe vera gel has amazing healing powers, and when used both orally in the form of an aloe vera gel drink and externally it can help in a lot conditions and gives you a healthy body. Though the aloe vera gel is used as a main ingredient in a variety of products especially skin care, it is most effective when used on its own and fresh. Here is how you can get glowing skin using aloe vera gel:

Acquisition:

This step is pretty self explanatory, first we have to extract the gel and for that you have to get your hands on some aloe vera stalks. Once you have acquired a few stalks, start by washing the stalks to remove any dirt or mud and then dry it on a clean cloth. Aloe Vera stalks have thorny parts on the sides and in order to operate safely and so that you don’t injure yourself, use a kitchen scissor or knife (though you have to be very careful using the latter) and start removing them. Once that’s done, now we move to extract the aloe vera gel. Using a sharp knife, carefully start removing the outer covering of the leaf exposing the gel. This gel is what we really need so be careful not to leave the covering behind and not to scrape off the gel while slicing. Once that is completed, extract the gel using a knife or a spoon (spoon is safer and recommended) and collect it in a jar or a small bowl. Repeat the process for all stalks and you will have successfully extracted organic Aloe Vera gel.

Glowing face:

There are tons of things you can do with the Aloe Vera Gel that will give you a glowing face, you can use a variety of mask or alternatively make a Aloe Vera Gel Drink and consume it. Here are two ways you can use it externally:

  • Use the Aloe Vera Gel and combine 2 tablespoons of rose water and mineral water and mix them very well. Pour into a small plastic spray bottle and shake well. Use it directly on the facial skin. This mixture will lat 7-10 days in the fridge.
  • The second way doesn’t involve the Aloe Vera Gel per se, but uses the chunks of the plant. Take the chopped stalks and put pure natural honey to the chopped pieces. Wash your face with lukewarm water prior to the process, and then massage the pieces into your facial skin in circular motions.

Alternatively you can make an Aloe Vera Gel Drink, the simplest way would be to add it in some lemonade.
